I am journalist with six years of reporting experience in Los Angeles. I write news, investigative stories, data stories, features and opinion. I report on activism, crime, labor, finance and business. Columbia Scholastic Press Association awarded the Los Angeles Collegian and Collegian Times magazine the Silver and Gold Crown Awards during my tenure as an Editor In Chief and reporter. In 2019, the Journalism Association of Community Colleges awarded me First Place in News Writing. JACC also awarded the Citrus College Clarion with General Excellence and Pacesetter awards during my tenure as Editor In Chief. In 2020, the Associated Collegiate Press awarded me Best of Show for Front Cover Design.
